Rugby Day
The club turned out on a freezing morning on July 18 to support the Mark
Leslie Foundation at the fourth annual Bundanoon Charity Cup. With NSW
Country teams vs. ACT teams and Oakhill College Teams, it's billed as the
biggest rugby match in town, and a highlight of Bundanoon's Winterfest.
As well as those who turned out to help at the sausage sizzle, new member
Michael Jeffree, ably assisted by wife Roslyn and father-in-law Barry,
served quality coffee as a popular adjunct to the Lions Café.
Both were busy all day and, with a donation from Canberra Tuggeranong Lions
Club included, we were able to make a donation of $1,000 to the Foundation.

Changeover Day
The Bundanoon Country Motel was once again the venue
for our annual Changeover ceremony and lunch on July 11.
Tributes were paid to the stewardship of both
Elizabeth CRANNY and late husband, PP Clyde, with a surprise presentation to
Elizabeth.
Special guests from Kangaroo
Valley Lions Club were PDG Franz MAIRINGER and his wife, Lion Lorraine.
Other guests included representatives from the Bundanoon Visitors' Group and
Bowral Lions Club, and a pleasant day was had by all.
